Mobile Access Control

A convenient, secure, and modern form of access control

Mobile devices have become an essential part of our day-to-day lives. They are shaping different systems we use, not only to connect with people but to manage our lives and businesses as well. Mobile Access Control allows devices like smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets to be used instead of key cards or key fobs, to gain access to secured doors, gates, networks, services and more. Connected to a secure management dashboard, you can instantly grant, disable, and manage permissions from anywhere at any time.

There are many benefits of access control systems, with the main benefit being the increased security it offers to your business. The other benefits are – You increase the ease of access for employees, there is no need for door keys, your business saves money on door locks & security personnel, you can track & monitor who enters and leaves your business, it stops unwanted visitors and finally, access control systems enable you to comply with industry regulations and Health & Safety standards.

There are many types of access control systems. Stand alone access control is the simplest system whereby all of the equipment required to correctly secure your business is located in the door, with access granted via a predetermined code entered into a keypad or scanning a proximity card, fob or biometric terminal.

A networked access system is a more complex system which allows you to control all doors and set up different security parameters allowing them to have multiple levels of access. This is subject to the level of security and access required for each space within your building. The system can also report on how many times an area has been accessed by whom and at what time. With a host of reporting functionalities, the system can track who has been where at what time and day, facilitate fire mustering reporting and also track & trace. This can be Cloud, PC or server based.

Door entry systems are used when you need to have a system that allows visitors into your building by either pressing a button or calling your security team. Usually designed around an intercom system that is standalone or integrated into a networked access control system or via an app

Mandatory access control is the most restrictive form of access control and is used when you want to give each employee their own individual access control rather than granting it to overall job roles.

Role based access control systems allows you to predetermine an employee’s access into certain areas of the business based on their job role or department they work within.

An Access Control system gives you total control over who enters your business and / or specific areas within your business. A preconfigured door lock system is attached to your door that only allows entry when someone enters or scans the predetermined credentials (code, tagID card or biometric profile). They can also provide detailed reports on how employees and visitors move through your premises at the touch of a button.

No, we provide a survey to determine what needs upgrading and sometimes, we can integrate with your current systems. We will give you all the details of our findings after we complete the site audit.

The main purpose of an access control system is to provide access to people who are authorised to enter your business or specific areas of your business whilst restrict access to others.
