Following the introduction of Martyn’s Law on September 12th, Access Control Specialists OLS are pleased to announce a new partnership with sports and event ticketing solutions provider Future Ticketing. The partnership seeks to unite the business’s expertise in access control to help venues meet the evolving demands of security compliance within the sporting sector.
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law, intends to ensure public sporting places are prepared for terrorist threats. The bill prioritises public protection whilst considering the burden to the event premises, offering a tiered approach determined by the number of attendees and the type of event taking place. By adhering to the bill’s policies, event premises can reduce vulnerabilities to a terrorist attack and safeguard patrons through more robust access control systems.
To help businesses implement higher standards of access control, Future Ticketing has partnered with OLS to develop and offer a new bespoke, turnkey solution that provides high levels of site security whilst enhancing both security and customer experience. Through this new access control solution, OLS and Future Ticketing aim to deliver secure, technology-driven solutions to sporting and event premises that utilise the security and maintenance benefits of a cloud-based access control system.
As specialists in access control and the implementation of both digital and physical security systems, OLS and Future Ticketing are at the forefront of helping event venues comply with the new legislation while also enhancing site security through innovative solutions.
Ollie Law, Owner, Founder and CEO of OLS said: “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Future Ticketing to expand and develop new access control solutions for event premises. Martyn’s Law is an incredibly important bill that puts visitor and site safety at the forefront of sporting and event planning. We’re excited to work alongside the Future Ticketing team and develop cloud access control within the event and sporting sector.”
