Migrating to the cloud to integrate with in-house time and attendance systems
We were approached by ISS to create a dependable solution to issues they were facing with their existing time and attendance provider at their sister site. ISS were disappointed with the level of service they were receiving and took the decision to switch to UKG. We were then recommended as their main access control integrator and installer.
ISS were looking for a seamless connection solution between their UKG T&A system and their new Access Control system and using the OLS Connect ® Platform we could provide this for them.
ISS also wanted to enhance security at the entrance of their building and were looking for aesthetically pleasing solution with a high quality finish.
A fully cloud-based access control solution integrated with in-house systems
OLS installed a new cloud-based access control solution that fully integrates with the customers in house UKG Ready Time & Attendance platform. We used our flagship product ‘OLS connect’ ® integration designed to connect with Vanderbilt’s ACT365 access control system. This is a unified connection that applies the APIs of both systems ensuring minimal administration for adding and removing users and keeping information up to date. Reducing administration times, enhancing site security, and keeping up to date with user’s access levels. Fully GDPR Compliant.
Utilising the ACT365 App, fire roll call has been made easier and automated by placing readers at muster points for self-check in. This eliminated the old school paper approach and makes this a quicker and re-usable method of accounting for people in an evacuation.
The project also encompassed the supply and installation of a number of Automatic Systems turnstiles to add enhanced security and give a corporate feel. These high-quality turnstiles provided a reliable solution, whilst making a design statement and embraced advanced technology.
We provide ISS with a much-improved service and reactive response when dealing with any requests or faults on site when compared to their previous supplier.
The new solution is not only aesthetically pleasing but the touch free push to exit and LED break glass units provide a full turn-key solution and smarter system.
The ACT365 app integration has provided an improved service for HR. ISS work on multiple sites and the system gives them a more dynamic option for controlling the system from any location. The system not only provides the benefits of the fire roll call as previously mentioned but also help to reactively deal with company dismissals and misplaced employee cards.
