Doncaster Knights
Doncaster Knights contacted OLS Ltd because they needed an access control solution that gave them better control of the crowds entering and exiting the stadium on match days for when fans returned post COVID-19.
Doncaster Knights had previously installed a sanitisation tunnel also known as a Gateway Protection Tunnel PPT for when visitors entered the stadium, and they were looking for a turnstile system to control the flow of the public when they exited the ground.
The Solution
A robust access control solution giving better control of crowds
We supplied and installed two turnstiles at the Doncaster Knights stadium along with a weatherproof canopy. Exit-only turnstiles are ideal for mass transit locations to allow the public to exit without interfering with those entering. The canopy was installed to protect visitors of the stadium from the weather.
The Results
Installing turnstiles at the Doncaster Knights Stadium ground was the best solution because exit turnstiles do not need to be managed and low-grade maintenance is required. The turnstiles allow the club to monitor, manage and record the flow of fans exiting the stadium. The newly installed turnstiles compliment the Gateway Protection Tunnel that they have installed at the entrance and allow Doncaster Knights to adhere to COVID regulations and to keep visitors safe during the COVID period.
