OLS is shortlisted for Security Installation Company of the Year, acknowledging its consistent delivery of high-quality, innovative, and reliable security solutions. The nomination reflects the team’s dedication to tailoring installations to the unique needs of clients across various industries, always with precision and professionalism.
The company has also been recognised in the Security Project of the Year category for its transformative work at Castle Park Stadium, home of professional rugby union team Doncaster Knights. OLS implemented a fully integrated solution using Suprema’s XStation 2 and CLUe platform, linking seamlessly with Future Ticketing. The upgrade replaced manual ticket scanning with two smart turnstiles, enabling both digital and printed ticket use. Key features include:
- Fast and secure entry with real-time QR and barcode scanning
- Live ticket validation to reduce fraud and improve crowd management
- Enhanced stadium security through live monitoring
- Scalable system ready for RFID, NFC, and facial recognition integration
The results speak for themselves: reduced operational costs, improved fan experience, and a future-ready access solution.
Jason Sharpe, Operations Director at OLS said ‘Being shortlisted in both the Security Installation Company of the Year and Security Project of the Year categories is a proud moment for everyone at OLS. These nominations are a reflection of the expertise, innovation, and dedication that our team brings to every project, from the initial consultation through to final installation and ongoing support. Doncaster Knights is a standout example of how modern technology can dramatically enhance operational efficiency and the visitor experience. We’re committed to delivering smart, scalable security solutions that not only meet today’s demands but are also built for the future.’
The awards ceremony will take place on 5th June 2025 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
