Cloud-based security specialists, OLS, celebrate their acknowledgement from the prestigious SME National Business Awards, securing themselves two finalist positions for 2023.

The SME National Business Awards are in their seventh year, providing an opportunity to support and raise the profile of industrious, hardworking small and medium enterprises across the UK. Said to be responsible for driving innovation and competition in many economic industries, SMEs are businesses who have 250 employees or less. The awards are judged by a panel of up to 4 national judges.

OLS have been awarded finalists in 2 of the 20 categories that make up the SME National Business Awards, Best Enterprising Business and Business Innovation.

To be a finalist for Best Enterprising Business, OLS had to prove that they aren’t static, resigning themselves to the same strategies, but that they’re always moving and working towards being market lead within their field. Their initiative and willingness to undertake new projects, grow and thrive, has resulted in OLS being one of seventeen businesses nominated for this award.

Business innovation requires an organisation to do something new, different, smarter, or better to make a positive impact on their industry and for their consumers. OLS is one of eighteen put forward for this award.

Becoming finalists for these two awards mean OLS are automatically in the running for the overall award of SME National Business of the Year 2023.

Ollie Law, Owner, Founder and CEO of OLS said: “Having provided high-quality, reliable, professional security services to a range of establishments since 2009, we noticed the need to move into cloud-based solutions to keep up with changing technology a few years ago. To be recognised and given enterprising and innovation accolades from the prestigious SME National Business Awards is an honour. The team and I are looking forward to what awards night brings.”

The awards ceremony will be held at Wembley Stadium in London on Friday 1st December 2023, from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.
