The company required an upgraded CCTV system to their premises at Doncaster, the site had been recently acquired and was under refurbishment. The CCTV system requirements covered site security (intruder detection), health and safety monitoring of the workforce, visitors, vehicle movements and hot spot detection within the waste sorting shed.
The Solution
A high-quality CCTV solution with 24/7 monitoring
The solution consisted of using a full Concept Pro by Videcon solution. A range of IP 4MP HD 1080P static cameras were deployed across the site together with thermal imaging cameras. The CCTV system combines intelligent video analytics with strategically placed Red Wall detectors to monitor the site for intruder detection. The thermal imaging cameras monitor the waste sorting shed and waste for hot spot detection, if the heat from rotting waste reaches the threshold temperate an alarm is generated for action by site staff or sends the system into alarm for the monitoring station. The whole system is monitored 24/7 by OLS’s strategic security partners who offer a full suite of CCTV, alarm monitoring, security and keyholding services.
