Oticon, a global leader in hearing technology, required an upgraded access control solution to improve on-site security and streamline user management. OLS was engaged to supply and install a cloud-based access control system, Acre’s ACT365, integrated with PayEscape HR software via the OLS Connect module.

Modern Access Control Implementation
A secure and flexible cloud-based access control system was deployed across the site, replacing legacy entry methods with a more efficient, user-friendly solution. The system supports fob-based access and integrates with existing infrastructure where appropriate.
Integration with OLS Connect
The project leveraged OLS Connect, a proprietary integration module, to seamlessly connect Acre’s ACT365 access control platform with PayEscape. This enables automatic syncing of user data, reducing manual administration and ensuring access permissions are always up to date.
Credential Compatibility
The solution retained compatibility with existing access cards, reducing cost and disruption. Additional cards for visitors and contractors were also supplied for operational flexibility.
Cloud-Based Infrastructure
With a fully cloud-hosted setup, the system eliminates the need for on-site servers or PCs. It can be managed from any location using a secure web portal or mobile app, requiring only internet and power to operate.
Fire Safety & Attendance Reporting
The system includes integrated fire muster functionality, generating real-time roll calls based on door swipe activity. Emergency and attendance reports are accessible via the iOS /Android app.
