💼 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Security Systems Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to deliver high-end, cloud-led security solutions. You will learn how to:

• Install and commission Access Control, IP VSS (CCTV), and integrated security systems
• Support physical security systems including gates, barriers, and turnstiles
• Configure and fine‑tune systems to meet project requirements
• Ensure all work meets SSAIB, ISO9001, and OLS quality standards
• Assist with technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving
• Provide accurate documentation, images, and customer sign‑off
• Follow OLS tools, processes, and installation procedures
• Support customer training on system operation
• Work as the on-site contact during projects
• Collaborate with site, suppliers, and internal teams
• Maintain tools, van stock, and adopt a “clean as you go” approach
• Work in accordance with site rules, health & safety, and hygiene requirements and maintain OLS quality standards.

🏫 Structured Apprenticeship Learning

This is a three‑year apprenticeship.

You will attend one full week of college every quarter, giving you structured time to develop your theoretical knowledge alongside hands-on experience with real customer projects.
