OLS specialises in the supply and installation of high quality/high value electronic integrated security systems and we are looking for a professional, energetic, relationship driven Account Manager who can develop new opportunities within our existing customer base and follow up on new leads to win new customers. You will also be skilled at increasing growth through selling ongoing service and maintenance contracts. You will respond to incoming enquiries and win new business at existing customers (new solutions and upgrades to services).

OLS has grown substantially over the last 3 years by providing outstanding products and installation service. We only work with high quality customers and suppliers and are looking for an Account Manager who is able to identify opportunities for our business which also deliver outstanding value to our customers. It’s all about delivering the right solution, time and time again so that our customers only want to work with OLS.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of small to medium works and confidently hit targets of around £500k+ pa (£40k- £50k p/m) within mixed business areas.

The successful candidate will be a commercially astute relationship builder. You’ll be dynamic at managing new & existing customer relationships to drive growth for the company along with increased satisfaction for the customer. You will be able to function independently but will also be able to leverage resources and engage with the operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service. You will understand the sales process from start to finish.

The role will report to the Commercial Director, you will be able to work remotely however will be expected to visit the office in Doncaster as and when required.

Key attributes of the role :

  • Develop relationships with existing and new customers to build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Hit quarterly targets for new business sales in project and ongoing maintenance contracts.
  • Maximise your understanding of products, features, and value propositions
  • Prepare Sales Reports and present, as required, with an analysis of results and recommendations on issues, actions, and initiatives
  • Good understanding of current regulations and codes of practice
  • Develop a network of contacts to understand current and emerging market needs and trends
  • Participate proactively in region strategy, planning and review discussions
  • Develop and implement account strategies and plans aligned to the regional business plan
  • Monitor competitors’ performance and respond promptly to threats and risk
  • Provide feedback to the Directors on customer needs and market opportunities
  • Understanding of system design

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Attractive Commission Structure

Package includes, 20 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays, Annual Profit Share, Expense Account for Business Use.
